DHHI&FMG, Eliwana, Stacker and Reclaimer Switchroom

In 2019, South Seas had the privilege of participating in the DHHI/FMG Eliwana stacker-reclaimer project in Australia. This highly anticipated collaboration aimed to provide comprehensive equipment support for FMG's (Fortescue Metals Group) Eliwana iron ore mine, promoting its operations and development in the mining industry.

As one of Australia's leading iron ore developers, FMG has been committed to introducing advanced technology and equipment to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and actively promote sustainable mining development. The Eliwana iron ore project is a significant initiative for FMG under this vision, expected to have a positive impact on regional economic growth and job creation.

DHHI (Dalian Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.), a leading Chinese machinery equipment manufacturer, is renowned globally for its advanced technology and reliable product quality. This cooperation with FMG aims to provide stacker-reclaimer and recovery equipment for the Eliwana iron ore mine, meeting its production and operational needs, showcasing the deepening cooperation between China and Australia in the mining industry.

In this project, South Seas will provide switchroom and related equipment, including: 1 switchroom, 11 low-voltage cabinets, 8 low-voltage variable frequency drives, 1 network cabinet, 5 control cabinets, and 14 distribution boxes. These equipment will provide stable and reliable electrical support for Eliwana iron ore mine's production, ensuring smooth and safe equipment operation.
