In 2022, SouthSeas had the privilege to be part of the NGF/Wave Zijin Mining's Paddington Gold Mine project in Australia. Our role in this project was to provide electrical equipment for NGF's difficult ore selection plant to support its gold ore processing.
Located in the gold mining region of Western Australia, the Paddington Gold Mine is one of Australia's largest gold mines operated by Zijin Mining. Gold ore processing is a complex process that requires reliable electrical equipment to ensure the stability of the production line.
In the difficult ore selection plant at Paddington Gold Mine, the switchroom plays a key role as the core node for power supply and equipment control. Equipment such as high-voltage cabinets, low-voltage cabinets, low-voltage variable frequency drives, and distribution boxes are indispensable in the switchroom, ensuring stable power supply and safe operation of equipment. Additionally, control systems, fire protection systems, and HVAC equipment are essential for ensuring the safe operation of the plant and the comfort of employees.
In this collaboration, SouthSeas will provide high/low voltage switchroom, control systems, fire protection systems, HVAC, and variable frequency drives for the NGF/Wave Zijin Mining's Paddington Gold Mine project, with a total project value of 5.4 million Australian dollars.
