From 2024 to 2025, South Seas was honored to participate in Guinea's Kiniero Gold Mine Project, providing turnkey E-house solutions for owner Robex Resources and EPC contractor ECG. As one of Robex's key gold mining development projects in West Africa, the Kiniero initiative holds strategic significance for enhancing regional mining automation and energy efficiency.
The E-house (prefabricated electrical house), serving as the core integrated solution for modern mining power systems, incorporates various electrical and auxiliary equipment including HV/LV switchgear, VSD control systems, lighting and fire protection systems. This modular solution enables rapid deployment, remote operation and maintenance, significantly reducing construction timelines while improving project safety.
South Seas undertook comprehensive responsibilities including E-house system design, structural fabrication, electrical integration, functional testing, and maritime delivery. Our team developed multiple IEC-compliant, high-reliability E-house modules specifically designed for West Africa's challenging operating conditions featuring high temperature, humidity, and dust exposure, providing intelligent, efficient and stable power support for the mine's core operations.
The successful execution of this project not only demonstrates South Seas' professional capabilities in mining electrical system integration, but also showcases our delivery capacity for large-scale resource projects in Africa. South Seas remains committed to our "Technology Leadership, Service First" philosophy, continuing to provide customized, integrated intelligent electrical solutions for global mining clients.
