South Seas was established in 2012 in Western Australia (Australia), now it is a group of subsidiaries under the holding company Liaoning Zhongxin Automation Control Group Co., Ltd. (hereafter LZAC).

LZAC was established as a joint venture by Ansteel Group, a German and Singaporean investment back in 1990. It was one of the earliest companies to develop EI&C solution businesses in Asia, specializes in research and provision of development, system integration, software development, and complete solutions in electrical, instrumentation, automation, and switchrooms (E-Houses) across many industries.

South Seas is headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, with regional headquarters in Suzhou and an engineering center in Anshan, China. With over 50 elite professionals focusing on world-class deliveries for overseas projects and R&D in electrical, instrumentation, and automation solutions. As the backbone, the holding company LZAC employs nearly 200 highly skilled employees, 90% of whom have university degrees or above. Over the past 33 years, it has diligently accumulated a wealth of experience in industrial services as a comprehensive solution provider, extending its reach to businesses in 27 countries across five continents. These include China, Japan, Australia, Sudan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Maldives, Ukraine, France, the USA, Chile, Venezuela, Mali, Burkina Faso, and more.

South Seas with LZAC has already delivered over 1000 projects internationally, powered by its ownership of 50+ software copyrights and patents developed from the basics of automation on process plants to high-level intelligent facility functional management. Certifications across industrialization and informatization of its self-developed products have been accredited by many organizations such as 3C, ASTA, AS/NZ, Ausgrid, CE, CNAS, CSIRO, GB, IEC, NATA, UKAS, and Vipac.

South Seas maintains management systems under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 27001 for transferring its core company value towards our clients ---> Refactor for Better.

At South Seas, we have inherited and enhanced the technical assets of our parent company, LZAC Group, and integrated our expertise into the projects we deliver to continually strengthen our competitiveness in the market.Our services include:

• Construction, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical apparatus, instruments, and computers in the field of automation.
• Complete sets of industrial high and low-voltage power distribution equipment and EI&C solutions.

Company History

The predecessor of South Seas was the Overseas Business Department of LZAC Group, established in 1990. Over the past thirty years, we have made unremitting efforts and experienced vigorous growth in the field of industrial automation. We have gone through the throes of past industrial restructuring and also enjoyed the benefits brought to us by the nation's economic development policies.

  • 2010

    In 2010, LZAC Group established an international business team to develop the overseas market.

  • 2011

    In 2011, a technical team comprising of researchers, designers, and engineers was formed to provide support to the international business team.

  • 2012

    In 2012, LZAC Aus was established in Perth, Western Australia.

  • 2013

    In 2013, LZAC Aus delivered the first self-developed informationised minerals beneficiation project in Australia in partnership with Schneider.

  • 2015-2016

    LZAC Aus' Z-BRICK series 3200 LV products were certified by the Ausgrid test center between 2015 and 2016.

  • 2015-2016

    In 2015, LZAC Aus became a qualified supplier of Sydney Water.

  • 2017

    In 2017, LZAC Aus was awarded an EI&C EPC contract for a non-ferrous metallurgical project in Queensland.

  • 2020

    In 2020, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, LZAC Aus' output value increased by 104% year-on-year, and it became a contractor for BHP, Rio Tinto, and FMG.

  • 2021

    In 2021, the new trading name, South Seas, was officially registered.

  • 2022

    Be selected as one of the top ten E-House suppliers in the world by Digital Journal.

  • 2023

    Won the first turnkey electrical project for Lithium mining.

  • 2024

    Won another turnkey electrical project at the beginning of the New Year.

    Certification

    The industry and management certifications are owned by Liaoning Zhongxin Automation Control Group Co., Ltd. (LZAC Group). As a subsidiary, South Seas is entitled to the shared services provided by the Group, which include support in the areas of HSE, QA/QC, HR, and legal affairs. This enables us to allocate these resources to meet the needs of our customers.
