In 2021, South Seas had the privilege of participating in the on-site commissioning service project for Rio Tinto's Koodaideri stacker-reclaimer machine in collaboration with FLSmidth. This highly anticipated cooperation aimed to provide on-site commissioning services for Rio Tinto's mining operations in Australia, ensuring the smooth operation and efficient production of the stacker-reclaimer machine.

Rio Tinto is a global leader in the mining industry, with operations spanning across Australia, Canada, South Africa, and other regions, primarily involved in the extraction and production of resources such as iron ore, aluminum, copper, and diamonds. In Australia, Rio Tinto owns several mining areas, some of which are renowned for their rich mineral resources.

FLSmidth is a global engineering company specializing in providing technical and equipment solutions for industries such as mining, cement, and chemicals. Rio Tinto, as one of its key clients, has had extensive cooperation with FLSmidth for many years, particularly in mining equipment and engineering.

In this collaboration, South Seas deployed professional engineers to conduct engineer commissioning, FAT support, and electrical installation, successfully completing the pre-assembly commissioning of the stacker-reclaimer machine in accordance with Rio Tinto and Australian standards. This significantly reduced the installation and commissioning time on-site.
