Between 2016 and 2018, South Seas had the privilege of participating in the West Hornsby Treatment Plant project with Sydney Water in Australia. This was a significant collaborative effort aimed at providing essential low-voltage switchgear equipment for water treatment facilities in the Sydney region to ensure their safe operation and water supply quality.

Sydney Water is a major department of the New South Wales government in Australia, responsible for managing and operating water supply and wastewater treatment systems in the Sydney region. The West Hornsby Treatment Plant is one of its key treatment facilities in the western Sydney area, playing a crucial role in treating large volumes of wastewater and converting it into reusable water resources.

Low-voltage switchgear equipment plays a critical role in water treatment plants, controlling the power supply and operation of electrical systems. The reliability and stability of these devices directly impact the operational efficiency and safety of the treatment plant.

In this collaboration, South Seas provided the necessary low-voltage switchgear equipment for the West Hornsby Treatment Plant, including but not limited to low-voltage switchgear cabinets, circuit breakers, and power distribution boxes. These devices were installed at key locations within the plant to ensure stable power supply and enhance facility operational efficiency and safety.
