In 2016, South Seas had the privilege of participating in the MMG Dugald River project in Australia. This was a highly anticipated collaboration aimed at providing MMG with core equipment for their Dugald River mine in Australia and assisting in the commissioning process to ensure smooth operation and efficient production of the mining equipment.
MMG is an international mining company involved in the extraction and production of various metals such as copper, zinc, and lead. The Dugald River mine is one of MMG's significant projects in Australia, located in northern Queensland and known as one of the world's largest zinc mines.
In this collaboration, South Seas provided the required core equipment for MMG's Dugald River mine and assisted in the commissioning process. Specifically, this included: switchroom, high-voltage cabinets,low-voltage cabinets,low-voltage variable frequency drives,network cabinets, control cabinets, high-voltage compensation cabinets,distribution boxes, These equipment pieces provided reliable support for the mine's power supply, equipment control, and safe production. The total value of the project was over 10 million Australian dollars, reflecting its scale and significance.
